Guest Speakers

Stephen Splawn

SC Baptist Convention

Stephen Splawn graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and Journalism, minoring in Speech, from the University of South Carolina, and is currently completing his Master in Divinity at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Stephen is an Evangelism Strategist with the SC Baptist Convention serving our 2,125 churches in South Carolina. Stephen travels all over the state of South Carolina in support of our pastors and even abroad to places like Guatemala, Taiwan, Berlin, Juarez, and Hong Kong sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Lee Clamp and the Convention Executive team have Stephen with the opportunity to “bridge build” two worlds in worship across the state. "I know I cannot do this alone. As Blackaby says, 'A God sized task requires us to join Him where He is already working.' 1 Corinthians 3:9 says, 'For we are God's Workers. You are God's field, God's building.' This clearly speaks to us all in our joint role in walking with God in our call to serve Him and my role at the SCBC is no exception." He and his wife, Jessica, have two children.
